I ran across this lovely ad for the series of novels featuring the great Chinese supervillain, Dr. Fu Manchu, by author Sax Rohmer in the back of the short lived Warren movie magazine, On the Scene.
On The Scene was Warren's attempt to take the format that had been such a success for Famous Monsters of Filmland and transfer it to the action and fantasy genre.
It took me years to get a copy and it is one of the "prides" of my collection.
I'll be sharing more from this classic magazine as we go along.
